Position: Accountant Industry: Leading Manufacturing Company Location: Mozambique, Africa Salary: USD 1,500 per month Experience: 5–8 Years (Preferred) Contract: 2 Years Joining: Immediate / Short Notice Preferred
📋 Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain books of accounts, general ledger and journal entries.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and manufacturing-related expenses.
- Monitor production costs, overheads and cost allocation.
- Handle payroll accounting and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support budgeting, financial planning and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with management and auditors for financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and timely month-end closing.
🎯 Candidate Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, reconciliations and inventory accounting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing costing and financial reporting.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- English communication – Mandatory.
- Portuguese communication – Preferred / Strong Advantage.
- Willing to relocate to Mozambique, Africa.
