Candidate Requirements

✔️ ITI, Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical/Production field
✔️ Minimum 3–5 years of shop-floor experience
✔️ Experience in a block mill, wire-rod mill, bar mill, TMT rolling mill, steel plant or metal-processing plant strongly preferred
✔️ Hands-on experience operating and checking rolling-mill machinery
✔️ Knowledge of roll stands, guides, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, lubrication and cooling systems
✔️ Able to monitor machine parameters and identify vibration, abnormal noise, overheating, leakage or improper material flow
✔️ Comfortable working directly on the production floor
✔️ Young, energetic and willing to learn the newly installed Chinese block-mill machine
✔️ Ready to relocate and join urgently in Angola

Job Responsibilities

• Receive practical training from the Chinese machine supplier during plant start-up.
• Learn the complete start-up, operation, monitoring and shutdown procedure of the block mill.
• Operate the block-mill machine according to production and safety requirements.
• Monitor speed, temperature, load, material flow and machine operating conditions.
• Check roll stands, rollers, guides, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, lubrication and cooling systems.
• Identify abnormal vibration, noise, overheating, leakage, cobbling or improper rolling conditions.
• Assist in machine setting, roll and guide adjustment, size changes and trial production.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical maintenance and production teams during breakdowns.
• Maintain shift-wise operating, inspection, production and downtime records.
• Gradually take independent responsibility for block-mill operation after completing training.

🕘 Working: 6 Days per Week | 11 Hours per Day
