Heavy Duty Mechanic – Construction Equipment | Angola

Location: Angola

Role & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction machinery and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits, pumps, cylinders, valves, and related systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel and petrol engines.
• Inspect and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and engine components to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Carry out routine servicing, breakdown maintenance, and equipment overhauls.
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors and maintain maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits and hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with diesel engines and petrol engines used in heavy equipment.
• Experience working on construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, graders, forklifts, or similar equipment.
• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification is preferred, but relevant experience is the key requirement.
• Willing to relocate to Angola.

Salary & Benefits

• USD 800 per month during the first 3 months (probation).
• USD 1,000 per month after successful completion of probation.
• Additional allowance of AOA 250,000 per month.
